Summer Shipping Schedule

To combat potential mold or microbial growth during transit, RGO is taking all necessary precautions. Moving forward, here is our updated policy:

The humid, extreme heat inside dry trucks creates an ideal environment for mold growth. To mitigate this risk, we strongly recommend shipping via refrigerated (reefer) trucks from May through September. During the late fall, winter, and early spring months, dry carriers may still be used, but with the understanding that this increases the chance of mold issues.

We respect that the final choice of freight carriers and shipment methods rests with you. However, to maintain the high quality and freshness of our pecans, we advise the reefer truck option. If you choose to ship via dry truck, we will not be able to accept claims related to mold problems, as this shipping method carries a higher risk.

Damaged Product

To receive credit for damaged or missing products, all claims must be submitted to RGO within 2 business days of delivery. Claims submitted more than 2 business days after delivery are not guaranteed to be accepted.

Transit Delays

All projected delivery dates, although running 97% + on-time are estimates per the carriers projected transit times.

Warranty

Customers must report any defective products within 30 days of receiving them. Upon confirming the defect, RGO will promptly refund, credit, or replace the affected products, at RGO’s discretion. This shall be the customer’s sole remedy for any breach of warranty.
